Automatic Payment Chasing

Chasing money is the part everyone hates, so Pro automates it. When you send an invoice you pick reminder milestones — 7, 14 and 30 days overdue, all on by default and each optional. The app watches the calendar so you don't have to.

How does automatic chasing actually work?

The app checks daily at 8am. When an invoice hits one of your chosen milestones — 7, 14 or 30 days overdue — you get a push notification. One tap opens a pre-written chase email in your own mail app: polite at 7 days, firmer at 14, urgent at 30, with the invoice PDF re-attached and your payment details repeated.

You stay in control: the chase sends from your email, after you've seen it. The app does the remembering, the wording and the paperwork; you do one tap.

When do I find out an invoice has gone overdue?

The moment an invoice first crosses its due date, you're notified. The dashboard also shows an overdue badge with the total amount outstanding, so the number is never a surprise.

Can I chase all overdue invoices at once?

Yes — there's a bulk “chase all overdue” flow that walks you through your overdue list one client at a time, each with its pre-written email ready to go. A few minutes clears the whole backlog.

Can I turn reminders off for a specific invoice?

Yes. The milestones are per-invoice: when you send an invoice, each of the 7, 14 and 30-day reminders can be toggled individually. Turn them off entirely for a client you'd rather handle personally, or keep just the polite 7-day nudge.

I'm not getting chase notifications

Chase alerts arrive as push notifications, so the usual suspects are notification permissions and battery settings. Check that notifications are allowed for TradeInvoice Pro in your phone settings, and that the app isn't battery-restricted (Android's battery optimisation can silence background notifications).

Also confirm you're on Pro — automatic chasing is a Pro feature — and that the reminders weren't toggled off when the invoice was sent.
