Privacy Policy
Your invoices, your clients, your data. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the tools built into the app for exporting or deleting it.
Last updated: 6 July 2026
1. Introduction
TradeInvoice Pro("we", "us", "our") is a mobile invoicing app for tradespeople. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use the app and this website.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, and sign-in credentials (you can sign in with Google or with email and password).
- Business information: your business name, trade, country, logo, and the bank details you choose to print on your invoices. Bank details are used only to display them on your documents — we never move money.
- Invoicing data: the clients, quotes, invoices, line items, job photos, and signatures you create in the app.
- Usage data: app interactions, logs, and diagnostic data used to keep the service reliable.
3. How we use information
We use your data to provide the service: storing and syncing your invoices across your devices, generating your PDFs, sending you reminder notifications for overdue invoices, computing your business insights, and supporting you when you ask for help. Anonymised, aggregated invoicing data is used to build the regional benchmarks shown in the app — never in a form that identifies you or your clients.
4. How sending works
Invoices, quotes, and receipts are sent from your own email address using the mail app on your phone: we prepare the message and attach the PDF, and your mail app sends it. We do not connect to your mailbox, do not store your email password, and cannot read or send email on your behalf. WhatsApp sending works the same way, through the WhatsApp app on your phone.
5. Payments
Your clients pay you directly — by bank transfer or PayPal using the details printed on your invoices. We never receive, hold, or process that money, and we take no cut of your invoices. Pro subscriptions are purchased through the Apple App Store or Google Play, which handle payment under their own terms and privacy policies.
6. Sharing and third parties
Your data is stored on Google Firebase infrastructure, encrypted in transit and at rest. We share data only with service providers needed to run the service (hosting, analytics, subscription management) and require them to protect it consistently with this policy. We do not sell your data.
7. Your rights and built-in tools
GDPR tools are built into the app: you can export your data, delete individual clients and their data, or delete your entire account from within settings. Depending on your jurisdiction you may also have rights to access, correct, or port your personal data — contact us to exercise them.
8. Data retention
We keep your account and invoicing data for as long as your account exists, so your records are there when you need them. If you delete your account, your data is deleted in accordance with this policy, subject to any legal retention obligations.
9. Offline data
The app works offline-first: invoices you create without signal are stored on your device and sync to our servers when connection returns.
10. Children
The service is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date.
