Offline Mode & Syncing

Trade work happens in basements, new builds and rural dead spots, so the app is offline-first: creating invoices needs no signal at all. Everything you do offline syncs automatically the moment your connection returns.

What can I do with no signal?

Create invoices, add clients, edit line items — the core paperwork works fully offline. Your changes are stored on the phone and sync to your account automatically when you're back in coverage.

Two things genuinely need a connection: the live AI voice agent (it processes speech in real time) and actually sending an email or WhatsApp message. Prepare everything offline; the send happens when you're connected.

How do I know my work has synced?

You don't have to do anything — syncing is automatic and needs no button. Anything created offline shows as pending until it syncs; once you're back online it clears within moments.

If something has been pending for a long time, check the phone actually has internet (WiFi captive portals are a classic trap: connected to WiFi, but no real internet until you accept the hotel's terms page).

Will I lose an invoice I made offline?

No. Offline work is saved on the device immediately and delivered when connection returns — that's the design. Don't uninstall the app while items are still pending, though: unsynced local data can't survive the app being removed.
